Spiral for Pongrace Manor, Mikulići 95, author’s concept of multimedia cultural events for the restoration of Pongrace Manor, Zagreb, 1995

The Spiral for Pongrace Manor was created as part of my authorial concept for the revitalization of Pongrace Manor. At the time, the castle was in a severely neglected condition, making it necessary to publicly draw attention to its state, while also advocating for improved working conditions for the Šumska Jagoda Kindergarten and the Šestine Croatian Peasant Singing Society, both of which operated within the building. The project also aimed to encourage the establishment of a cultural center for the local community, as well as for the broader cultural and social public.
The initiative involved numerous contemporary Croatian artists with diverse projects, ranging from installations to a fashion show, and I realized a large spiral installation composed of 33 burning torches.
